TINA-C provides a standard reference model for organizing IT functions and system components. It ensures interoperability, portability, and reusability of components. NetHarmonix leverages TINA-C for adaptability and extensibility.

The pyramidal TMN model describes where an OSS's functionality exists within telecommunications operations. NetHarmonix supports all five layers of the TMN model with emphasis on the element, network, and service management layers.
